Azinger Rips Tiger
On Monday on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio channel, Paul Azinger ripped into Tiger Woods for his club-kicking antics at the Masters.
“Tiger’s antics this week were an embarrassment to the game, to the membership at Augusta,” Zinger said. “I was really disappointed to see him carry on that way. He’s not trying to endear himself to anybody. And after he won Bay Hill I thought, ‘here we go again, this is going to be Tiger just kicking butt and taking names.’ I don’t know. I thought he acted like the south end of a northbound mule.”

Highest Rated Final Round at Pebble in 15 Years
Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods together in the final round has produced the highest rating for CBS Sports at Pebble Beach in 15 years.
The network said Monday the overnight rating from final round was 5.1 with a 10 share, which was up 96 percent from last year. It was the highest rating for the final round of the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am since a 5.8 with a 13 share in 1997, when Mark O’Meara held off Woods and David Duval.
Tiger To Make Announcement at 11am Today
On Monday morning at 11am ET, Tiger Woods will sit down with Kelly Tilghman to announce something. It’s not clear what it could be.
Some of the wild speculation includes:
- He’s done for 2011
- He’s going to have (or had) surgery to end his 2011 year
- He’s getting a new swing coach
- He’s taking European Tour membership in 2012
- He will comment on his relationship with Anthony Galea
- He’s getting a new caddie
- He’s going to retire
I think we’re going to get at least 2 of the above. My guess: he’s done for 2011 and he’s dumped Sean Foley. Stay tuned…

Just go out there and play golf. He used to hit shots, he used to bomb it, used to do all that stuff. In 2000 and ‘97, I think he did pretty good. He won the Masters by 48 shots or whatever he won it by. I think sometimes he gets carried away on that. And a lot of guys do.

Tiger’s Big Move Likely To Wait
Asked on Wednesday after his practice round at the WGC-Cadillac Championship when he plans to move from Orlando to his new south Florida digs, Tiger Woods said, “no time line, not yet.”
