Fire officials say the fire burned through the rough, into vegetation next to the course and over two dry, brushy hillsides. No charges were...

Casey and Rose Deserved Ryder Cup Spots
Paul Casey and Justin Rose have to be left wondering what else they could have done to have made the 2010 European Ryder Cup team.  After Monty snubbed each of them with his three captain’s picks, you could argue that since they hadn’t qualified on their own merit that they have no one else to blame but themselves.  The reality is they have the European Tour to blame for a terrible...

Disasterous Round 3 Start for Tiger
Tiger Woods started his third round at The Barclays today with a disasterous triple bogey seven on the 380-yard 1st hole. The first hole at Ridgewood is about as easy a starting hole as you’re going to find for a par-four, but Woods sailed his opening 3-wood well left into the trees and out of bounds.  After re-teeing it, he found the first cut up the left side of the fairway, missed the...

How Do You Track Your Driving Accuracy?
We came across an interesting article by Golf Digest that prescribes a new way to track your driving accuracy.  Instead of measuring your driving simply by Fairway Hit vs. Fairway Missed, they outline a new idea that gives each drive a point value from 0-4, with 0 being a drive in which you have an excellent chance to hit the green on your next shot, and a 4 being a tee shot that goes O.B.
